This guide is designed to list gadgets useful to every type of carp angler, whether you’re a pleasure angler or a hardcore 24/7 angler.
And when we say gadgets it doesn’t need be complicated, but it must be super useful to a carp angler whilst on the bank.

Prologic Quick Release Connector
Sometimes the smallest innovations can make a big difference in carp fishing and these quick release connectors from Pro Logic are a great example of this.

A quick release system can save significant time on the bank either setting up or packing away. If you have a fish on the bank it can make releasing your net easier without risking damaging your landing net handle or a fish.

These type of gadgets still have mixed feelings in the carp fishing community but when used right it can save a lot of time figuring out a lake.
For example knowing the type of lake bottom and features so you can get your rig presentation 100% spot on can make a big difference to your success on the bank.

If fishing close in under snags and trees is one of your favourite ways to present a bait and catch fish than this Cygnet Baiting Spoon is the one gadget for you.
Used in conjunction with a baiting pole or long landing net handle and net float, you can place and bait up your chosen hidden spot that would be impossible to cast too otherwise.
This technique is very popular with big fish anglers, giving you an edge over others fishing the same lake.
